Portfolio

Here are a few projects I have worked on. Due to the white label nature of most of my services, only a few approved to be displayed are featured below.

The Roar

I developed the HTML/CSS templates then working with their developer, integrated the new theme into the existing WordPress site and optimised the site for loading. The Roar serves over 2,000,000 page views a month, so fast lightweight code was priority while still retaining functionality & advertisements.

Studio Alto

I developed a flexible WordPress theme for Studio Alto, built around the concept of having different "blocks" they could use to build their pages exactly how they want them. As such they were able to showcase their work precisely how they wanted, giving control back to the designer rather than the standard "set template" approach. It's definitely a great approach for suitable sites, I've built a dozen in a similar manner and clients LOVE the ability for them to build their pages how they want without needing to type a line of code!

My Bespoke Chair

A great example of what you can build on top of WordPress. The design a chair section features 5 chairs, 8 rotations of each, up to 10 different different selection zones for each chair and rotation, and approximately 20 fabrics which can go in any selection; creating all kinds of combinations. In fact, around 8,000 possible combinations!

Of course, that's a mammoth task to hand create. I built a generator which instead takes the fabric selections and builds the chair dynamically - saving a ton of time for the designers, and for fabrics added in future.

Client was thrilled and it received great reviews, her launch party with copies of the site on iPad for guests to order was a success - celebrations all around!
